The incident, which occurred on Monday (9/28) at around 3:30 PM, caused several nearby residents to suffer health issues after being exposed to airborne gas. Aside that, one resident was injured after panicking and jumping from the second floor of their home.
East Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head Arief Wahyudhy stated his agency is still closely monitoring the status of patients remaining under observation in several healthcare facilities.

"As of now, 18 residents have recovered or are undergoing outpatient care. Additionally, one individual was referred to Ciracas Regional Hospital, while three others were sent to Tugu Ibu Hospital," he added.
His party will keep a close eye on the four residents until they are certified well.
"We will keep monitoring their condition until they are fully recovered," he continued.
East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Chairman Bambang Pangestu Aldriyan stated that his team also assisted with initial medical response at the scene.
"Care was given to residents experiencing shortness of breath and those injured in the panic following the pungent smell of gas," he added.
He noted that the injured resident was 45-year-old Hari Prasetyo, who suffered a right-leg injury along with scrapes after jumping from the second story of his house in a state of panic.
"We immediately liaised with relevant officials, followed by an assessment involving the RT and RW leaders as well as the Pasar Rebo Sub-district Community Health Center," he stated.
He noted that Indonesian Red Cross health personnel on the ground also assisted in referring affected residents to several medical facilities, including Tugu Ibu General Hospital (Cimanggis, Depok), the Pasar Rebo Sub-district Community Health Center, and Ciracas Regional Hospital.
"Beyond emergency medical care, we handed out approximately 200 masks to affected residents as a precaution against further complications from gas exposure," he stated.
